Place De La Comedie
A view of one of the many TAM stations

Rue de l'Ancien Courrier, one of many streets within the city

In Montpellier, no other place is more active and live than its city center. Here shops, landmarks and events are all within walking distance or accessible by either bus or tram. One of the most surprising things I found while learning about Montpellier was its diversity. Here it was just as easy to find a French boutique store as it was to find an authentic Thai restaurant. The same applies to the people who consist of students, migrants and tourists come from all over the Old World and live alongside local Southern French people .
